Welcome to Board Card Domino Games

I am a game lifer. Growing up, both my mom and dad's family were very into games. Whether we played board games, card games, or domino games, this is always how our family interacts with each other.

I cannot actually remember my first game, but I have been told it I was as young as 2 years old. Of course we played the typical childhood games like Uno, Candyland, and Shoots and Ladders, but I remember sitting on my parent's lap while they played advanced card games. Learning the rules (and strategies!) from a young age.

My mom comes from a very large family (one of eight kids, and I have over 15 cousins!), so dominos was normally the go-to growing up. You can play with many people, and it was not unusual to have 10 people sitting around the table playing Chicken Foot.

As I got older and the golden age of board games began, I continued to expand my horizons and play more board games with friends. I am a true competitor, and have used a lot of my strategies learned through card games and dominos to quickly pick up and optimize my board game playing.

All and all, my perfect night with family or friends is a game night. With snacks, drinks, and some competitive spirit, you can't beat it! And I am happy to share all of my thoughts, favorites, and house rules with all the other game-lovers out there.
